This is a one of a kind program.  Most medical assistant programs cost in upwards of $15,000 -$20,000.  Phlebotomy career training is able to offer classes at affordable prices because the instructors also operate the school.  As a community owned business, the main goal is to provide the highest quality of education at affordable pricing and more importantly, to help each student find successful and gainful employment in their prospective fields of training.

What’s included in this Super 12 Package?

All books; Kinn’s 10th, or 9th edition Medical Assistant text, EKG/Telemetry Text book, Davis Drug guide, ICD 10 Medical Billing and Coding, 2 Medical Billing and Coding workbooks.  Comprehensive hand outs, unlimited access to our educational online platform, where students may watch videos from classroom, practice interactive quizzes, read and download Power Point presentations and much more.  The current value of these programs with books totals in excess over  $11,500.   Additionally, class sizes are small.  There are anywhere from 5-8 students per class, which allows time for individual instruction.  All classroom instruction is hands on so that the student can gain real world application and increase their skill level.  Also included is the 204 hour medical assistant externship which the student is placed after their first 6 weeks of class.  Students have up to 6 months to complete all in class and online training.  All blood draws at the school during friends and family day are FREE!  Additionally, students will perform up to 50 blood draws at the school at no charge with practice on 25 butterfly needles.

This class is taught by our own MSN-FNP, professor Nancy Kimmel and Kinesiologist/Phlebotomist Ms. Melanie Cronk.  There is also a 1 day clinical where students will accompany one of our MSN/BSN nurses to a health care facility where students will perform nursing physical assessments on patients.

Students who are interested in this program can come in or call our offices for special payment plans tailored to their needs.  Students can expect that they will most likely become employed prior to their graduation or before finishing all courses.  These are more certifications than most people complete in their entire lives.  Phlebotomy is proud to be the one school that is able to offer so many certifications.  For a list of scheduled classes and start dates, please call 734-762-3220,option 1, or 313-826-2381.

  21. Hi I’m interested in the super 20 package but live in Louisiana. Could someone rxplain exactly how this online certification works and where and how is being getting the certifications? Could some call or email me? My email is ******* and I would really appreciate the information. Thank you in advance!

  22. Hello, I am interested in furthering my options in the medical field. I have already taken and passed my EKG certification exam with your organization. Since, I have been working as a monitor tech for just shy of four years. I am located in Texas, and, thus, I would be taking these classes remotely. I am a bit confused on how tuition/payment plans work. I see that $1000.00 is the down payment, and then consecutive payments are made thereafter. But I cannot find a “total cost” for the over all program. Also, are the books and national exams included with the cost of tuition, or are those separate expenses I should plan for? I do understand that, being out of state, I would need to find a lab willing to allow me to work on my needle stick skills. How would I properly document and send that information back to you? I apologize for my many questions, but, as you have said, this is an amazing opportunity. I wouldn’t want to let it pass me by.

    Thank you.

  25. Hello Ericka;

    Our medical assistant super 20 or our big 10 comes in way over 720 clock hours. Typically each program is anywhere from 70 to 120 clock hours not counting externship, roughly I would say that the big 10 probably comes in close to 800, while the big 20 is closer to 1140.

    thanks for writing in,

  26. Would the Super 20 online course meet Nebraska State requirements for all 20 certifications and be able to set for my State Exam. Also apone taking the online course how do I go about setting up my blood drawls, ekg clinicals, and Medication clinics. If this online 6 month course meets Nebraska requirements, how soon can I start my online classes?

  27. Hello Merosticka
    With this course there is no state exam you can sit for a national exam once you have completed the program you would need to contact your state board and see if these certifications meet their requirements

  28. Hello , I am in Florida and interested in either the 10 or 20. Would it be ok for my state rules ? I would have to find places to do my externship ?

  29. Good Morning Michele;

    The Big 10 or 20 are nationally accredited. Therefore if you take the big 10 you may take the national exam either through the AMCA or the NCCT for MA. Yes, you would have to find your own clinicals. Typically that is working in an urgent care or physicians office.

    thanks
    nan
