This is a one of a kind program. Most medical assistant programs cost in upwards of $15,000 -$20,000. Phlebotomy career training is able to offer classes at affordable prices because the instructors also operate the school. As a community owned business, the main goal is to provide the highest quality of education at affordable pricing and more importantly, to help each student find successful and gainful employment in their prospective fields of training.
What’s included in this Super 12 Package?
All books; Kinn’s 10th, or 9th edition Medical Assistant text, EKG/Telemetry Text book, Davis Drug guide, ICD 10 Medical Billing and Coding, 2 Medical Billing and Coding workbooks. Comprehensive hand outs, unlimited access to our educational online platform, where students may watch videos from classroom, practice interactive quizzes, read and download Power Point presentations and much more. The current value of these programs with books totals in excess over $11,500. Additionally, class sizes are small. There are anywhere from 5-8 students per class, which allows time for individual instruction. All classroom instruction is hands on so that the student can gain real world application and increase their skill level. Also included is the 204 hour medical assistant externship which the student is placed after their first 6 weeks of class. Students have up to 6 months to complete all in class and online training. All blood draws at the school during friends and family day are FREE! Additionally, students will perform up to 50 blood draws at the school at no charge with practice on 25 butterfly needles.
This class is taught by our own MSN-FNP, professor Nancy Kimmel and Kinesiologist/Phlebotomist Ms. Melanie Cronk. There is also a 1 day clinical where students will accompany one of our MSN/BSN nurses to a health care facility where students will perform nursing physical assessments on patients.
Students who are interested in this program can come in or call our offices for special payment plans tailored to their needs. Students can expect that they will most likely become employed prior to their graduation or before finishing all courses.
